A Multnomah County grand jury on Friday indicted three men on attempted murder and other charges in the brutal assault of a TriMet passenger on Oct. 15.
The three suspects – 28-year-old Greffy Tom, his 27-year-old brother Rinson Tom and 33-year-old Audric Yesiki – face accusations of second-degree attempted murder, first-, second- and third-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, third-degree escape and interfering with public transportation, court records state.
Yesiki is also charged with strangulation in the alleged attack against a 50-year-old commuter, court records show.
The three men pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.
Court records allege that the Tom brothers and Yesiki tried to board a TriMet bus shortly before 9 p.m. on Oct. 15 at Southeast Stark Street and 142
