BEAUMONT, Texas — Emergency 911 services in Beaumont will remain fully operational during a planned maintenance outage that will temporarily disable non-emergency phone lines for Police, Fire and EMS beginning at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, the City of Beaumont announced Monday.
The city emphasized that 911 emergency services will not be affected by the outage and will continue operating normally throughout the maintenance period, according to a news release.
Non-emergency phone lines for Police, Fire and EMS will be unavailable from 10 p.m. Wednesday until approximately 2 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, while Spectrum installs an additional internet circuit at the Municipal Court. The installation is part of a project with the Southeast Texas Regional Planning Commission.
