The Tule River Parkway Native Plant Gardens project is featured in the 2025 fall edition of Flora magazine.

Flora is a California Native Plant Society publication which is mailed to the more than 11,000 CNPS members and given to many others. The gardens are featured in a one-page article.

Alta Peak is the California Native Plant Society Tulare County chapter. Alta Peak is one of the original adopters of one of the gardens. They plant and maintain garden 30.

“It is a real honor to have our project praised in this magazine,” TRPA president Cathy Capone said. “I believe this publication will bring tourists to Porterville and the Tule River Parkway Native Plant Gardens.”
