NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WFSB) - The I-Team has learned police had several encounters with Karla Garcia while she lived in Farmington.
Warrants show Jacqueline Torres-Garcia was killed in the home on Wellington Drive that Garcia rented from June 2024 to March 2025.
Farmington Police records the I-Team requested, show police visited the Garcia home three times for noise complaints.
Their first visit, only nine days after Karla Garcia told her sister that Jacqueline Torres-Garcia had died, according to an interview Jackelyn Garcia did with police.
A neighbor also told Farmington Police she called DCF over concerns about Jacqueline’s siblings.
Farmington Police reports show one neighbor “routinely overheard yelling, swearing, and items being thrown in the residence.”
