Tyrese Maxey is off to a scorching start to the 2025-26 NBA season, propelling the Philadelphia 76ers to a flawless 3-0 record with his relentless scoring.
In Monday night’s 136-124 victory over the Orlando Magic, Maxey erupted for 43 points. He now has 111 points through the first three games of the season, second only to Wilt Chamberlain in franchise history in that regard.
Without Joel Embiid on Monday, who sat out after limited minutes in the first two games, Maxey shouldered the offensive load against Orlando. His 43 points came on efficient shooting, including 4-of-11 from three-point range. He also dished out eight assists and grabbed four rebounds with just one turnover.
