Africa has an even worse problem than the United States with aging politicians who won’t let go.
Cameroon is emblematic. On Monday, its government declared that 92-year-old president Paul Biya has been reelected to another seven-year term. Calling him the “winner” is generous since the election was almost certainly rigged.
