ASCENSION PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A Prairieville man has been arrested on child pornography charges, deputies said.

According to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Willard Yochim, 33, is charged with five counts of child sexual abuse materials under the age of 13 and three counts of child sexual abuse materials.

The investigation began on Friday, August 8, after detectives with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force got a cyber tip from the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation.
