“I think we’re both in unique situations,” Beck said Tuesday after a practice at Place Bell. “He had a good camp and showed he could play really well with (Alex) Newhook and (Ivan) Demidov . Obviously, he played a little bit of power play and penalty kill throughout the camp as well. In the role that he was given, he showed that he could contribute.
