The Patriots filled their practice squad by signing two running backs on Tuesday.
Jonathan Ward and Rushawn Baker were added the practice squad, and Jashuan Corbin was placed on practice squad injured reserve.
The Patriots also had an open spot on their practice squad after outside linebacker Truman Jones was signed to the Titans’ 53-man roster.
Ward, 28, spent time on the Titans in 2022 and 2023 while Mike Vrabel was head coach. The 6-feet, 202-pound running back has 22 career carries for 91 yards and six catches for 52 yards and a touchdown since entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan in 2020. He’s also spent time with the Cardinals, Jets, Steelers and Giants.
