An exchange of gunfire inside an Alabama Little Caesars Pizza left one employee hospitalized.

Anniston Police Chief Nick Bowles provided this account of what happened, based on scene evidence video surveillance footage of the encounter and subsequent shooting:

About 7:18 p.m. Monday, two 17-year-olds entered the lobby of the Quintard Avenue businesses. One of the teens is from Oxford, and the other is from Eastaboga.

The Eastaboga teen had his face covered with a mask and pulled up his shirt, exposing a Draco style 7.62 caliber pistol “as an act of intimidation to the two Little Caesars employees,” both of whom are also 17 and live in Anniston.

The teen from Oxford went behind the counter and attacked one of the employees. A fist fight ensued between all four teens.
