1Baltimore man charged with murder in deadly Hyden Court shooting

BALTIMORE, MD – A 48-year-old man has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting last week in South Baltimore, where a 42-year-old victim was gunned down in broad daylight.

On Thursday morning, October 23, at approximately 10:26 a.m., patrol officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 4100 block of Hyden Court. When they arrived, they found Eugene Henry suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital by medics but later died from his injuries.

Shortly after the incident, police apprehended Gerard Morris in the 800 block of Glade Court. Following his arrest, Morris was transported to the Central Booking Intake Center, where he was officially charged with
