ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

The ABQ BioPark has announced the gender of the new baby hippo along with a contest to name the hippo.

The ABQ BioPark says the new baby hippo is a girl.

The ABQ BioPark wants your help in naming the hippo calf. The four names to vote for are Maisy, Magdelena, Chama and Pearl.
