The LSU Presidential Search Committee is set to interview at least four candidates to be the university’s future president, as the board quickly moves toward a final selection.

Interim LSU President Matt Lee, McNeese State University President Wade Rousse, Dr. Giovanni Piedimonte, the vice president of research at Tulane University, and Dr. Robert Robbins, the former president of the University of Arizona, are all set to be interviewed at the committee’s Wednesday meeting.

Last week, the committee invited a total of six people to come for interviews should they accept the invitation and make themselves publicly known by Wednesday.
