ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) and the Town of Holly Hill are inviting public comments on a proposed project to enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility along US 176 (Old State Road) between SC 453 (Gardner Blvd.) and S-38-119 (Railroad Avenue) in Orangeburg County.

The project aims to revamp existing sidewalks and crosswalks, rehabilitate the roadway surface, and add new landscaping, lighting, and street furnishings along the corridor.

Funding for the project is being provided through the Transportation Alternatives Program, which supports community-based infrastructure improvements.
