New Jersey has finalized terms with Peron Construction, LLC, to purchase approximately 33 acres for public recreation and open space in Phillipsburg, the town announced.
The agreement represents an unprecedented preservation effort for the community .
Mayor Randy Piazza described the collaborative effort as achieving “what has never been done before in Phillipsburg: the preservation of more than 30 acres of valuable recreational land for public use.”
