JIM THORPE — Attorney General Dave Sunday, along with Carbon County law enforcement leaders, on Tuesday announced seven arrests and the seizure of several pounds of methamphetamine, fentanyl/heroin, and marijuana.
Cruz “June” Rodriguez — the leader of the organization — is charged, along with Elijah Marie Camacho, Justin Paul Heacock, Christopher Hazlett, Kayla Marie Evert, and Jose Nieves-Feliciano.
The investigation revealed Rodriguez was a ruthless leader who kept co-conspirators under his rule by threats and brandishing a firearm.
This operation was a joint effort between the Office of Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigations, the Carbon County Drug Task Force, and other local law enforcement partners.
