The Dodgers outlasted the Blue Jays 6-5 in an 18-inning marathon that set records and showcased why Shohei Ohtani might be the most unstoppable force in baseball today.

Ohtani’s performance defied belief: four hits, five walks, reaching base all nine times he came to the plate. The Blue Jays were so terrified of his bat that they intentionally walked him four consecutive times, essentially waving the white flag whenever he stepped into the batter’s box.
