Unfortunately, Paramount let "Yellowstone" creator and all-round creative powerhouse Taylor Sheridan slip through its fingers in the wake of the Skydance/Paramount merger , a move that saw Skydance boss David Ellison take over as Paramount Chairman and CEO.
