BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Investigators said a man has been arrested after allegedly setting fire to two cars, some trash cans, and several dumpsters.
The suspect, Micheal Daquilla, 45, is charged with one count of aggravated arson, four counts of simple arson, one count of attempted simple arson, and one count of criminal mischief.
According to the Baton Rouge Fire Department, the fires were set between the 4600 and 7300 blocks of Airline Highway. The cost of the damage is estimated to be about $14,000.
Investigators said they determined that Daquilla intentionally set the fires by gathering witness statements and watching surveillance video.
