Ray Romano is set for a recurring role in “ Running Point ” Season 2, Variety has confirmed.
Romano will play coach Norm Stinson in the Netflix comedy’s second season. Robert Townsend was originally announced for the part in September, but the creative team decided to go in a different direction and have recast the role with Romano. Reshoots are now underway.
Stinson is described as “a basketball savant turned social recluse who will team up with Isla (Kate Hudson) to re-discover his love for the game, and life.”
This will mark Romano’s second role in a Netflix comedy series of late. Previously, he starred in the series “No Good Deed” at the streamer, which debuted in 2024. His other recent TV roles include “Made for Love,” “Bookie,” and “Bupkis.” Romano is best known for starr
