Jim Parsons has undergone a stunning transformation right in front of our eyes, and while he almost didn't get the role of Sheldon Cooper on "The Big Bang Theory" due to show co-creator Chuck Lorre's doubts, we're sure glad things panned out. One cannot imagine anyone else playing Sheldon, but Parsons had to work incredibly hard to bring the character — and his complex lines — to life, and it would eventually take its toll.
