ORMOND BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — The Volusia County Sheriff's Office said it arrested an 11-year-old on suspicion of announcing her "kill list" of names at an Ormond Beach school on Monday.
Staff at the Riverview Learning Center notified a deputy that the 11-year-old girl wrote the list on her desk at school, VSO said.
According to VSO, the individual said she was "just playing" when deputies asked her about the list.
In footage from the sheriff's office, a deputy asked the individual if she had been to the station before, and she confirmed.
The individual was arrested on suspicion of making a threat to kill, which is a second degree felony, and violation of her probation, VSO said.
