New York Jets' Isaiah Davis got his most carries in a single game so far this season with seven and his most targets out of the backfield with five on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Those 12 opportunities led to season highs in rushing and receiving yards for the second-year running back out of Joplin High School.
His seven carries led to 65 rushing yards and five targets led to five catches for 44 yards, which became NFL career highs for the Jet. He also caught a 2-point conversion attempt — a career first. That conversion came with 7:52 left to play and made the score 38-32 in favor of the Bengals but helped to set up the opportunity for the Jets to earn their first win. ×
