Kirloskar Pneumatic Company reported results for the July to September quarter on Tuesday, October 28, which saw a decline across parameters on a year-on-year basis. The stock, in response to the result, has fallen.
Net profit for the September quarter decreased by 38% on a year-on-year basis to ₹44 crore from ₹70 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company's revenue fell to ₹386.4 crore from ₹668 crore, implying a 42% decline from the same quarter last year.
Its Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) fell from last year to ₹58.5 crore, a 36% decline from the year-ago quarter.
EBITDA margin for the quarter fell by 90 percentage points to 15.1% from 14% in the year-ago quarter.
