The Bills will be without Ed Oliver for a while.
The star defensive tackle was placed on injured reserve Tuesday after tearing his biceps during Buffalo’s win over the Panthers on Sunday.
Oliver, 27, will undergo surgery and is “expected to miss multiple months,” according to NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe .

Wolfe added that the Bills and Oliver are “holding out hope he can return if Buffalo makes a lengthy playoff run.”
In a post on Instagram on Monday, Oliver expressed optimism that he could be back on the field if the Bills go far in the postseason, writing “I’ll be back just in time to play for it
