HULL, Iowa (Gray Media Iowa State Capitol Bureau) - Five months after he formed a gubernatorial exploratory commitee, U.S. Representative Randy Feenstra, a three-term Republican from Hull, announced that he will seek his party’s nomination for governor in 2026.
Feenstra made the announcement in a campaign video .
Feenstra announced the exploratory committee four weeks after Governor Kim Reynolds announced in April that she was ending her re-election campaign.
Three other Republicans already launched their campaigns for governor: former state representative Brad Sherman of Williamsburg, state Representative Eddie Andrews of Johnston, and former Iowa Department of Administrative Services Director Adam Steen.
Two Democrats have also announced their campaigns: State Auditor Rob Sand and
