That is why it’s so painful to see what happens when animals are left on their own. Life on the streets is harsh, and without anyone to rely on, many strays become thin, weak, and covered in matted fur.

Rudolph knew that struggle far too well. He had been trying to survive on his own, weighed down by heavy tangles that made it difficult to move, until rescuers from the Seattle Animal Shelter stepped in to help him.

A Difficult Rescue

Once Rudolph was safely in the care of the shelter, his kind personality shone through. Despite everything he had been through, he was gentle, social, and eager to connect with the people around him.
