More than 10 years after sexually assaulting two young men while in office, a recently ousted MP will finally face sentencing.

Former Kiama MP Gareth Ward was found guilty of sexual intercourse without consent and three indecent assaults in July following a NSW District Court trial.

The 44-year-old will be sentenced today.

Ward invited a drunk 18-year-old man to his South Coast home in February 2013 and plied him with drinks before indecently assaulting him three times in one night despite resistance.

Two years later, the former families minister sexually assaulted an intoxicated political staffer after a mid-week event at NSW Parliament House.
