The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced two pork-related food recalls in the past week: one for Golden Island-brand pork jerky, and one for Deli Express-brand pulled-pork sandwiches.

The pork jerky might contain metal fragments, and the sandwiches might contain plastic fragments, the FSIS stated.
