The San Francisco 49ers have finally added much-needed pass rushing help, acquiring Keion White in a blockbuster trade with the New England Patriots.
Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the banged-up 49ers have acquired Keion White and a 2026 seventh-round pick from the AFC East-leading Patriots in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick.
White was drafted in the second round (46th overall) by the Patriots in 2023. He had five sacks, five pass breakups and two forced fumbles last season, but was unable to build off that success in 2025.
Keion White missed two games earlier this season with an illness and an elbow injury. However, White only played 49 percent of the Patriots’ defensive snaps in the five games he suited up for, per Pro Football Reference.
