CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WPRI) — The Central Falls Police Department is investigating a suspicious death, 12 News has learned.

Maj. Christopher Reed confirmed detectives are looking into "a suspicious death within the city."

Reed stopped short of providing details on the investigation, including where or when the death reportedly occurred.

"This remains an open and very active investigation," Reed said.
