United Dairy Farmers is undergoing a "significant shift" in leadership, as CEO Brad Lindner announced his retirement along with the appointment of a new CEO.

UDF opened in 1940 by the Lindner family. In the decades following, the small family-owned business grew to nearly 200 stores across three states.

Brad Lindner says he is retiring after 47 years with the company his father helped found, including the last 27 as president and CEO.

"Starting in late 2024, we started to activate our succession plans related to leadership of the Company," Lindner stated. "This will be a significant shift for us as we transition from being a family led organization
