Charlie Marquardt, the Basketball Super League’s most accurate three-point shooter and Newcomer of the Year for 2024-25, will help the Sudbury Five pursue another championship this coming season.

A 30-year-old shooting guard from Rockaway Beach, N.Y., Marquardt was the first returning player to be announced by the local BSL club for 2025-26 .

“Let’s go back to back,” he said in a release from the team on Tuesday.

Marquardt, a 6-foot-4 graduate of Molloy University, led the league last season with a shooting percentage of 45.3 from beyond the three-point arc. He posted averages of 18.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game and hit 94.7 per cent of attempts from the free-throw line.
