Well, of all the World Series games, last night’s was certainly… one of them. An 18-inning marathon, won by the Dodgers on a walk-off from Freddie Freeman, and what feels like just a few hours later, we’re back at Chavez Ravine once again. How the managers handle their incinerated bullpens – 12.2 frames of work for Toronto last night, and 13.1 for Los Angeles – may well determine the result here. Along with how deep each starter is able to go into the game, of course. It’s certainly going to have to do a lot, if it’s going to stand up to the drama-filled classic of thoroughly unsound baseball we got last night.

Today’s game: • 5:00 pm: Blue Jays @ Dodgers [1-2], FOX
