SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - When the Notre Dame football team hits the road to face Boston College this Saturday, the Irish will be looking to build onto their five-game winning streak.
They’ll be taking on an Eagles team that hasn’t had a strong season so far. Boston College is currently 1-7, with the lone win coming in Week 1 against FCS opponent Fordham.
But despite the struggles, Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman says the team’s record doesn’t reflect the program’s strength or the competitive spirit of the players.
“They’ve dealt with a lot of injuries. There’s been some close games, among some other things,” Freeman said. “As you look, No. 3, the quarterback, they made a change to him the past two games and he’s really given their offense a spark. He’s doing some really good thing
