HAMDEN, CT. (WFSB) - Police are seeking public assistance in locating a 76-year-old man who went missing Monday morning.

Milton Gunn was last seen walking on State Street in Hamden at 11:30 a.m. according to police. A silver alert has been issued.

He resides at the High View Manor, located on State St. Police said that he may be in the Hamden, New Haven or West Haven area.

Gunn is described as a black male, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 260 pounds. He has gray hair, a gray mustache and brown eyes and was last seen wearing an olive green sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.

Police said Gunn may be in need of medical care and his medication.
