WEST CHESTER, Ohio —
The overpass along I-75 has reopened after a tanker truck carrying diesel fuel overturned and caught fire, sending massive plumes of smoke and flames into the air.
The fire shut down the Union Centre overpass and all exits and off ramps at Union Centre Boulevard in West Chester Tuesday afternoon. Advertisement
The driver of the tanker truck was able to make it out with , escaping as the cab caught on fire.
All lanes on I-75 have since reopened, but Union Centre Boulevard, between Muhlhauser and Cincinnati-Dayton Road, remains closed and will closed through Tuesday night.

The fire has been contained and no structural damage was found on the overpass. However, the road was significantly damaged and will need to be repaired before it can be reopened.
