MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Morgan County Sheriff's Office says a Lacey's Spring man was arrested last week for producing and disseminating child sex abuse materials.

MCSO said on Oct. 22, 2025, Michael Craig Browning, 53, of Lacey's Spring, was arrested and charged with 10 counts of dissemination/display of child pornography, five counts of production of pornography with minors, and possession of and with intent to disseminate obscene matter containing a visual depiction of a person under 17 years of age involved in obscene acts.

The sheriff's office said the arrest comes after Morgan County Sheriff Investigators, the State Bureau of Investigations, and FBI searched Browning's home.
