(NewsNation) — The chairman of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., tells NewsNation there needs to be further investigation into whether crimes were committed in the Biden White House.

House Republicans have called on the Justice Department to launch an investigation into the Biden administration’s use of an autopen, an effort they hope will unwind various actions taken by former President Joe Biden.

The 100-page report released Tuesday caps an investigation brought by the panel following questions about Biden’s mental acuity.

"The president was shielded from everyone, even the senior staffers, who admitted under oath that some of them would see him less than once a month," Comer told "The Hill on NewsNation."
