Two fugitives from New Jersey, wanted for charges of attempted homicide, were arrested in Seminole County on Tuesday.
According to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, 19-year-old Darren Salazar and 20-year-old Janelly Ramos were arrested around noon on Tuesday in the area of Red Bug Lake Road and Tuskawilla Road in unincorporated Seminole County.
Salazar attempted to flee from detectives at the scene and was struck by an unmarked SCSO vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Ramos was taken into custody without incident.
Salazar is being charged with resisting arrest without violence in Seminole County, and both suspects are facing a New Jersey attempted homicide charge.
