On the back of two goals each by Max Domi and Matthew Knies, the Leafs beat the Calgary Flames 4-3 at Scotiabank Arena. Article content Article content
The Flames arrived in Toronto with an NHL-low five points. The Leafs departed after the game for Columbus to play the Blue Jackets on Wednesday night with a record of 5-4-1.
Domi scored the winner with less than three minutes remaining when he took a pass from Knies and snapped the puck past goalie Dustin Wolf.
Samuel Honzek scored his first goal in the NHL at 14:49 of third to bring the Flames even. It came off a Morgan Rielly cross-ice turnover in the defensive zone, and Honzek, alone in front of Anthony Stolarz,
