Bryant Keller finished third overall and was the No. 2 runner for team champion Augustana

Bryant Keller knows he has joined a dominant Augustana University men's cross country program. And the redshirt freshman has proven he is a key component of the Vikings ' squad.

The former Glenwood prep standout finished third overall and was the No. 2 runner for team champion Augustana at the Northern Sun Conference meet at Wayne, NE, on Friday, Oct. 24. Keller covered the 8-kilometer course at the Wayne Country Club in 25 minutes, 8.2 seconds to trail winner Jared Gregoire by 10.2 seconds. His freshman teammate, Payton Brown, edged him for NSIC newcomer of the year by 3.3 seconds.
