Ava Watson scored the only goal of the game in the fourth quarter, as Freehold Borough blanked Lakewood, 1-0, in Freehold.

It was the sixth goal of the season for Watson, a senior, and the eighth of her career.

Adriana Romano, who had three saves, split the goaltending duties with Bailey DeNicola as the Colonials (8-11-1) recorded their ninth shutout of the season. They allowed just two goals in the entire month of October.

It was the third straight loss for Lakewood, now 2-12-2.
