Things got very spooky on Dancing With the Stars’ Halloween Night on Tuesday, October 28.

While the couples brought their best costumes — as did guest judge Cheryl Burke — to celebrate the holiday, not everyone was able to join the competition. The show opened with cohost Alfonso Ribeiro addressing Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten’s absence from the live show.

“She suffered an injury in rehearsal this morning,” he revealed. “Right now, she’s at the hospital being assessed.”

Hendrix shared a video from the hospital as the competition continued. Viewers also got a look at her and Bersten’s intro package, which revealed that she had a rib injury.
