OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) -- A U.S. Senate candidate from Kentucky hosted a town hall in Owensboro.

Lexington native Nate Morris is one of several republicans seeking the seat of U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell. Others include former Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron along with Kentucky 6th District Congressman Andy Barr and Kentucky Aviator Michael Faris.

"I think what people are hungry for they're hungry for change,” says Morris. “They're hungry for a candidate that's going to stand with President Trump. They're hungry for people that are coming from the outside. They're not career politicians, and can go to Washington to shake things up."

Morris says this will be one of many stops in Owensboro he plans to make in order to meet with voters.
