LAS VEGAS (KLAS) - Día De Los Muertos, or Day Of The Dead, is celebrated from Saturday, November 1 to Sunday, November 2 and pays respects to loved ones who have passed.

Currently, some communities fear that those celebrations may get smaller and quieter amid growing concerns over the current immigration climate.

“Here in Nevada, it's been a big thing the last few years, and it's only gotten bigger and bigger,” explained Edgar Rodriguez, who has lived in the valley for two decades. "This year, we don't know how many people are going to be participating, particularly because of ICE.”

Rodriguez is a father and typically takes his daughters out into the community for the holiday. However, this year, they plan to celebrate differently.
