BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - THE NEXT 24 HOURS: More rain is on the way and showers will continue through Wednesday.
There won’t be torrential rain but occasional off and on showers, breezy and cold! It is going to feel very winter-like Wednesday, with temperatures in some areas struggling to break out of the 40s. Definitely grab the jacket, and in addition to the umbrella, give yourself plenty of drive time for wet roads in the morning and afternoon.
Also, plan for very breezy conditions, with a southeast wind at 10 to 15 mph.
THE NEXT BIG THING: A cold-core upper low will bring cold, dreary, and wet conditions through Wednesday night, with lingering clouds, mist and drizzle Thursday morning, especially for areas to the east.
We have a First Alert Weather Day for a first threat o
