With the election just a week away, voters in Albuquerque's District 3 will soon choose their city councilor, with Teresa Garcia, Christopher Sedillo, and current City Councilor Klarissa Peña running for the seat. Each candidate sat down with KOAT to discuss various topics. Below, you can also find the full interviews.

Economy

Teresa Garcia emphasized the need for more local jobs and businesses, saying, "What I would like to do when I become city councilor is make sure that we bring more jobs into the district. Right now, we're traveling out to go to Costco, 45 minutes away, or Home Depot. We don't actually have those big box stores here, and we actually don't even have opportunities for small business owners to thrive here as well."
