CENTREVILLE, Ala. (WIAT) -- A woman who worked as a Centreville Water Department clerk is charged with first-degree theft of property.
According to a criminal complaint filed Monday, Rebecca Abercrombie, 41, is accused of taking $21,000 from the department. The alleged theft happened between June 1 and Oct. 14.
Abercrombie was arrested Monday, and her bond was set at $5,000.
