EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Thunderbolts opened their season, last week, with two road wins. Then, Saturday, they raised their 2024-25 SPHL championship banner, before a 5-1 loss to Quad City.

So, the Bolts brought a 2-1 mark, into an early wake up call, Tuesday morning, as they hosted the Havoc, in their annual education day game. What a crowd it was!

Huntsville takes an early 1-0 lead, but then Evansville responds. The Havoc get possession, and try to head the other way, but Scott Kirton steals the puck and puts it in. That ties it up, at 1-1.

Second period, Evansville comes out fighting, literally! Matthew Hobbs gets into it here, and he wins this battle, with a couple big rights!
